Academic Integrity
Georgia Tech and the School of Aerospace Engineering value honesty and integrity of all members of our community. Academic dishonesty is not tolerated. This includes cheating, lying about course matters, plagiarism, or helping others commit a violation of the Honor Code. Plagiarism includes reproducing the words or visual/graphical expressions of others without clear attribution and citation. Cheating includes violating rules presented in the course syllabus, homework assignments or project regarding allowable collaborations, and exams regarding allowable materials/resources to be used during the exam. Students are reminded of the obligations and expectations associated with the Georgia Tech Academic Honor Code, available online at GT honor code. and specifically the GT Honor Challenge Statement:

"I commit to uphold the ideals of honor and integrity by refusing to betray the trust bestowed upon me as a member of the Georgia Tech community."

Any student suspected of cheating or plagiarizing will be reported to the Office of Student Integrity, who will investigate the incident and identify the appropriate penalty for violations.

Homework
Homework will be graded and contribute to your course grade. In addition, doing the homework should help you explore the concepts covered on the tests. Your are encouraged to discuss the course material and homework problems with other classmates, but you should work the problems on paper on your own - no copying. Generally what this means is: 1) try the problem on your own, 2) then if necessary ask for help/suggestions, 3) then go back on your own and try to implement the suggestions. Do not work with another student on the homework step-by-step, checking each step as you go (this is not learning).

Homework must be turned in by the due date/time listed on Canvas receive full credit. Late homework can be turned in until the Canvas assignment closes, but there will be a penalty assessed. If unusual circumstances arise that will prevent you from finishing your homework on time, please contact the instructor IN ADVANCE, so that special consideration can be given.

Project
There may be some project type homeworks requiring computer usage.

Exams
There will be two midterm exams(probably open book) and one final exam (closed and open portions, scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6, 6:00-8:50 pm according to the registrar).
